English Poetry- Since there's no help

” Since there’s no help” was the poem Tina and I presented today. The poem was written by “Michael Drayton”. Since chapter ten is talking about tone, it must be special. When I first listened to the sound, I was surprised by the tone. It was different from the past I had heard. In the first eight lines, the speaker used a free and easy tone to express the feeling after he broke up with someone. We can find the happiness instead of any sorrow from his words. However, in the lines eight to twelve, the speaker slowed his tone and used personification to describe the scene of the end of love. In this way, we can see that his previous happiness is not real. The sadness is real absolutely. The speaker uses this way to make us easy to perceive the contrast of his feeling.
