English Waves

       At the beginning of December, we held a large singing competition- English Waves. It is held once a year, and has become more and more grand. This year we expanded the contest region from central section to the whole country. As a result, the contestant increased more than one hundred persons rapidly.

       My job is in the contestant rest room, and I am in charge of helping contestant get on the right place. I love this job on account of that I can talk to them while they are waiting. Therefore, I made some friends from other schools. I think it is good for me to expand my social circles.

 His name is 胡利基, who usually take part in many kinds of singing contests and he get the silver prize in this competition.

  



He is 林煌麟, this is the second time for him to join this contest. I like the song" Gravity" played by his band very much!

 

She is 黃正宜, who is a beauty and has a sweet voice. Besides, she and I both are big fans of Taylor Swift!!



  

A bit hit

   I thought that the greatest event in amusement page recently was the female singer Selina, who was burned when she was acting in a play "我和春天有個約會". She was burned  by the explosion  accidentally. Unfortunately, the male character wanted to protect Selina, so he was burned more serious than her. They both got hurt seriously and needed to do skin-grafting.

It was a big hit to the entertainment world. And it also caused highly attention to the security of actor and actress.

I was shocked when I first heard the news. Besides, I felt great pity for Selina because she was proposed by his boyfriend. And She is going to MARRY next year!!!!!! I really hope that they could be better soon and Selina would be the most beautiful bride!

The trip to Feng-Yuan

     Last Friday afternoon, my roomate and I went on a trip to Feng-Yuan for searching famous food at Miao-Dong. I was graduated from Feng-Yuan senior high school and familiar with the place than others. So I served as a guide to introduce them the delicacies there.

We went to train station from our school by bus, and then took a train to Feng-Yuan.

First we ate the zongzi, which was my favorit. It was very special than others on account of that it had soup!! I remebered my brother and I often came to eat the zongzi when I was little. Jean also loved it after eating. Futhermore, she bought two zongzi home for her parents! 

This one was 三角圓. It was also one of famous food there. Tina said that it was good and chewy. But the price was a little expensive.

We also ate a lot of food such as dried beans and iced pineapple juice.

I loved the trip to Feng-Yuan. It was not only because I missed the place where I lived before very much but also it had too much delicacies!

The ballroom dancing club

I am the vice principle of ballroom dancing club of our school. And the club is established in October 2009 by Tania and I. When we were both freshmen last year, we chose the ballroom dancing as our club. However, it was not until we join the welcoming party that did we know the club hadn’t founded yet! The party we joined only came the teacher of extracurricular activity group and several members of our department. After listening the explanation from teacher, we were known that our school wanted to found the ballroom dancing club as other school did. Then, the teacher requested us to help establish the club, and Tania and I were selected to be the leader of the ballroom dancing club.

        It was hard to do the complicated Administration, especially for us, freshman. One year later, the club grew up step by step and became more flourishing than before. And the principle was taken over by other one at the same time.




We are learning TANGO!!

 

     I really hope that the club could be stronger day by day. Let more and more people who love dancing come to join us !! :)

Family Reunion

     I was chosen to be the head of the fifth family by the seniors several days ago. Yesterday was the first time family reunion in this semester. So I took charge of  contacting every members  as a matter of course. Finally, the day was coming. After finishing the class, I bought thirteen bowls of soybean flower and took it to the destination－the student restaurant. Then I started to wait for everyone.

When all of members arrived, we started to eat soybean flower as well as introduce ourselves. Everyone was shy at first. However, after playing some games, everybody relaxed and became lively.

   

  By the way, this is the photo we took last year. I think it is funny to look back by means of contrarying the present and the past. Though I miss the seniors who have graduated so much, I still have a good time with my new friends.                                          

Miss.ELVA

            I had been one of ELVA’s fans for more than ten years. When I was little, I would stand in front of television every time her music video was broadcasted. Since then, I started to buy her albums. Mr. ELVA was her album which recently released.

     Last Sunday, I joined a concert. It was held by my favorite singer ELVA. I was so excited that I couldn’t wait to see her. However, something terrible happened, I forgot to bring the lyrics book of her album! It meant that I couldn’t go up onto the stage to let ELVA sign. How forgetful I was! Nevertheless, I still got her signature in the end. Although the staff forbade me to get ELVA’s signature, ELVA still signed her name on the cover of my album. She said ok to the staff, and reminded me of bringing the lyrics book next time. I was touched by her behavior!

About Me Bag



    

     In the past, the most important thing to me was watch. This was given by my mother. I remembered the reason for her to buy me the watch was high school entrance examination. And I needed a watch to help me take care the time when I was having a test. The watch was so important to me that I kept wearing it until now. I cherished the watch very much not only because it was useful but also it had a special meaning for me.



Last summer vacation, my father gave me a notebook as my birthday present. I was much moved because I had expected a notebook for a long time. Although there was a computer in my home already, I still wanted to own one on account of that I could bring it with me everywhere. Besides, I was about going to college at that time. It was obvious that I would need it very much. Last semester, I used my notebook to write and hand over my homework all the time. However, last week, unfortunately, my notebook was damaged, so I sent it to be repaired. As a result, I led without computer for several days. It was painful to me because I couldn’t do anything without it. But, luckily, I just got my notebook back yesterday.

     When I was little, I hoped that I could become an English teacher one day. When time passed, I gradually forgot this dream. It was not until I got into this college that I had the chance to restart my dream. I major in English in the college and I have taken the education courses. And all of the courses are used to help us pass the teacher examination. So, the license to be a teacher is the most important thing to me in the future.
